Hiring: Nurse Practitioner

Soza Wellness Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at 32 hour FTE! I treat patients using a functional and root-cause medicine approach.

You'll train under me before seeing patients, and I'll support you in becoming ILADS and functional medicine certified. Some primary care involvement and light travel (1-2 days/week) may be part of the role.

We offer a 4-day work week, generous administrative time, and generous holiday time off — because this kind of medicine takes time to do well.

I had a patient recently admitted to the hospital who received extensive testing.

The infectious disease doctor told him that he didn't have Lyme disease, and then the family pulled up this result.

You don't need a medical degree to interpret this test.

I guess I can understand ignoring a positive IgG test because they don't accept that chronic Lyme is a real entity even when patients continue to have symptoms well after the acute treatment is completed.

But a positive IgM means a recent infection! No excuses here!

After completing the Housemaid series, I'm left with my nerdy books. I LOVE my life right now, and how I'm able to help others with their health.
