The Watsontown Police Department is pleased to announce that we are participating in the Blue Envelope Program and now have the envelopes available at our station for drivers who are on the Autism Spectrum. The purpose of these envelopes are to alert officers on a traffic stop, vehicle accident, etc. that the driver that they are in contact with has autism. The envelope also allows for the driver to keep all necessary documents together that they will need to be produce. A copy of the driver’s license, vehicle registration, insurance and emergency contact information should be placed in the envelope. The envelope provides the driver and the officer with instructions to assist with helping the encounter to not get escalated due to the driver’s diagnosis.

If you or a family member has an Autism diagnosis, please stop by our station to pick up an envelope.

Hi everyone

​We have been closely monitoring the air quality reports caused by the Canadian wildfires, which are expected to persist through tomorrow.

​We are still planning to move forward with our picnic. That said, your health and safety are important. We want everyone to make the best decision for themselves and their families.

​If you have asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions, please take extra precautions. We completely understand if you skip the picnic this year. Reports change frequently, so Check www.airnow.gov for current conditions in your area throughout the day. For anyone attending who would like one, we will have N95 masks readily available at our pavilion.

​We can't wait to see those who can make it, and we completely support whatever choice you make for your own well-being!

Submit your totals daily, weekly, or whatever works best for you.

We were honored when Federal Credit Union chose ADERS as the beneficiary of their dress down days fundraiser!
Their donation will go towards supporting our social group activities as well as for purchasing some therapy materials for our kids services. Thank you!
