EverTrue Buffalo Valley Nursing Care Center's "Green Thumb Club" received a visit from Weis Markets, Lewisburg Floral Department Managers Megan and Jarred. They were invited to see the plants they provide the club flourishing. Residents transplant, water, prune the donated plants that need a little TLC. Thank You, Weis Markets of Lewisburg!

🧩 Ready… set… puzzle! Our Personal Care residents recently put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test during a fun puzzle race. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition along the way!

Thirty-six years ago, a historic civil rights law protecting the rights of people with disabilities was signed into law. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures all people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

Thanks to building codes and guidance from ADA experts, EverTrue has created communities with accessibility planned for people with disabilities, particularly keeping in mind the accommodations that impact older adults most. We even use ADA concepts to improve surroundings and make life more comfortable for our residents without disabilities.

"These accommodations help residents to maintain their independence and preserve their dignity," said Todd Hageman, a registered architect and Director of Capital Planning & Design at EverTrue. "ADA features enable residents to move more freely and use spaces, like bathrooms, more safely. EverTrue has a long history to fall back on when deciding what is needed: we can look at our past building experience to see what works, what doesn't work and what can be improved."
