By the time we finish the neck and scalp work, the headache is often gone. Plus, we've released the tension they didn't even realize they were carrying in their jaw.
Tension headaches rarely start where you feel them. Most of the time, the real source is the neck, scalp, and jaw—tight from clenching, stress, or hours spent hunched over a screen. These areas all pull on each other until the pain shows up behind your eyes or wraps around your head.
We work through it layer by layer: starting with the neck to release the base, then the scalp to help calm the nervous system, and finally the jaw if it needs attention. Clients are often surprised by how much tension was hiding there.
If you're dealing with headaches that just won't go away, this may be exactly what your body has been asking for.
