PART TIME Patient Care Coordinator/ Receptionist
Head to Toe Physical Therapy- Lewiston, ME
Head to Toe Physical Therapy is looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist to join our team!
As the first point of contact for our patients, this person plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
• Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
• Answering and managing phone calls
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Assisting patients with registration and intake paperwork
• Communicating with patients, therapists, physicians' offices, and insurance companies as needed
• Verifying insurance information and helping coordinate patient care
• Attaining authorizations from insurance companies’ websites when necessary
• Collecting copays and processing payments
• Maintaining accurate patient records and schedules
• Helping ensure the front office runs smoothly and efficiently
• Providing outstanding customer service to every patient
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
• An excellent communicator, both in person and on the phone
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
Previous experience in a medical or physical therapy practice is required.
