💙 Every great physician starts somewhere, and every residency journey leaves a lasting impact.

Congratulations to the Central Maine Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Class of 2026! 🎓

Over the past several years, these physicians have cared for patients, grown as clinicians, and become valued members of our healthcare team. Through long days, late nights, and countless learning opportunities, they've built the knowledge, confidence, and compassion that will guide them throughout their careers.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the impact they've made on our patients, our colleagues, and our communities will continue long after graduation.

At Central Maine Healthcare, we're proud to help train the next generation of family medicine physicians and support them as they grow into exceptional healthcare leaders.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Thank you for everything you've contributed, and we wish you continued success in the journey ahead. 💙

💙 The best nurses don't just care for patients. They care for the people around them, too.

That describes 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲, 𝗥𝗡, recipient of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 at Bridgton Hospital.

Randy is the kind of nurse every team hopes to have. He's there for patients and families during life's most difficult moments. He checks in on coworkers during busy night shifts. He volunteers to help when extra hands are needed. And he quietly steps in wherever he can make a difference.

The Winnie Moore Award honors a beloved nursing leader whose legacy of compassion, excellence, and service continues to inspire caregivers at Bridgton Hospital.

At Central Maine Healthcare, we're proud to recognize team members like Randy who make our hospitals stronger through their dedication, kindness, and willingness to support both patients and one another.

Congratulations, Randy, and thank you for the difference you make every day. 💙

Healthcare works best when it's accessible.

Not every patient can drive an hour to a specialist. Not every rural town has a trauma center. Central Maine Healthcare built something different: a system that serves 400,000 people across three counties because we're embedded in the places we work.

💙 Great healthcare starts with people who never stop learning.

Congratulations to 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗙𝗹𝗼) 𝗣𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻 on earning her 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 (𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗦) credential!

Respiratory therapists are there for patients during some of their most critical moments, managing advanced respiratory care, supporting life-saving therapies, and helping patients through serious lung and breathing conditions. The ACCS credential recognizes respiratory therapists with advanced knowledge and specialized expertise in caring for critically ill adults.

Earning this certification takes dedication, extensive preparation, and a commitment to continually growing as a healthcare professional.

At Central Maine Healthcare, we're proud to support team members who invest in their careers and bring that knowledge back to the patients and communities we serve.

Congratulations, Flo, on this incredible achievement. Thank you for your commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care. 💙

💙 Great healthcare starts with great people.

At Bridgton Hospital, that means leaders who are always willing to step in, lend a hand, and support both patients and teammates whenever they're needed.

That's exactly why 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗲, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿, was recently recognized with a 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗬 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

Brian's colleagues describe him as a compassionate leader who leads by example, mentors team members, and helps create a positive environment for both patients and caregivers. Whether supporting a patient, helping a fellow nurse, or guiding a team through a busy day, Brian consistently demonstrates what exceptional care looks like.

The DAISY Award is an international recognition honoring nurses who make an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients, families, and colleagues.

At Central Maine Healthcare, we're proud to work alongside people like Brian whose dedication, compassion, and leadership help make our hospitals great places to receive care and great places to build a career.

Congratulations, Brian, and thank you for everything you do for Bridgton Hospital. 🌼

💙 The best healthcare teams show up for patients in ways both big and small.

When a patient at Central Maine Medical Center realized her purse was missing, team members immediately jumped into action to help find it.

One of those team members was Security Guard Mark Peters.

Mark joined the search, digging through dozens of laundry bags in hopes of locating the missing purse. When the first search came up empty, he encouraged the team to keep going until the purse was finally found and returned to its grateful owner.

For his dedication and commitment to helping a patient during a stressful moment, Mark was nominated by Sasha Gagne, RN, and selected as a Sunshine Award recipient.

The Sunshine Award recognizes non-nursing team members who make an exceptional difference for patients, families, and colleagues through their compassion, service, and commitment to excellence.

Stories like this are a reminder that creating an exceptional patient experience takes an entire team.

Congratulations, Mark, and thank you for the difference you make every day. ☀️

💙 This is why healthcare professionals do what they do.

Recently, our team on T3 received a large basket of flowers from a former patient. Along with it came something even more meaningful: a heartfelt letter thanking the nurses who cared for them during their stay.

The patient described the team as "extraordinary people doing extraordinary things" and shared how their compassion, expertise, and kindness helped make a difficult experience easier.

One line from the letter especially resonated with us:

💙 "The work of a community is never the work of any one person alone."

At Central Maine Healthcare, exceptional care happens because of the people who show up every day for their patients and for one another.

If you're looking for a career where your work matters, your teammates support you, and your impact is felt long after a patient goes home, we'd love to meet you.

To our T3 team, thank you for the incredible care you provide.

And to the patient who took the time to share your appreciation, thank you for reminding us why this work is so meaningful.
