For June Turcotte, those 30 years have been spent right here at Central Maine Healthcare!

From her earlier work as a program administrator to her current role as a scheduler in our Endoscopy Department, June has been a familiar part of Team CMH through three decades of growth and change.

And while her roles may have changed over the years, her dedication to the people around her has remained a constant.

June, thank you for the many years you've spent supporting our patients and your fellow team members. We're grateful for all you've contributed and so glad your story with CMH is still being written!

Great patient care takes a team, and some of the people making a difference every day are working behind the scenes! 💙

Last week, we celebrated Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week, recognizing the dedicated Food and Nutrition Services teams at Central Maine Medical Center - CMMC, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital.

From preparing meals that meet individual dietary needs to making sure the right food reaches the right patient, these hardworking team members play an important role in the care we provide. They keep hospital floors stocked, deliver meals and help ensure patients have the nourishment they need throughout their stay.

Their work requires attention to detail, teamwork and a genuine commitment to caring for others.

To our Food and Nutrition Services teams across all three hospitals, thank you for the care and dedication you bring to your work every day. We're proud to have you as part of Team CMH! 💙

Caring for families through some of life’s biggest moments takes compassion, expertise and a whole lot of heart. 💙

During Midwifery Week, we’re proud to recognize the certified nurse-midwives at Central Maine Medical Center: Addison Bryant, CNM, Chris Gillis, CNM, Aleta Joy, CNM, IBCLC, Kristin Moody, CNM, Cathy Heffernan, CNM, and Janice Locke, CNM.

Their care begins well before delivery and continues long after a baby arrives. From prenatal care and labor and delivery to postpartum support, routine gynecologic care and family planning, our midwives are there for patients through many different stages of life.

Just as important are the connections they build along the way. They listen, answer questions and help patients understand their options so they feel informed and supported in their care.

Addison, Chris, Aleta, Kristin, Cathy and Janice, thank you for the care you provide to women and families throughout our community. We’re so glad you’re part of Team CMH! 💙

From Maine to the international hockey rink. 🏒💙

Dr. Dennis Sullivan, orthopedic surgeon at Central Maine Healthcare, recently served as team physician for the U.S. Under-17 Men’s Select Team at the Four Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic.

Dr. Sullivan helped keep the young athletes healthy and ready to compete as Team USA battled its way to the championship, earning a 5–4 shootout victory!

Back home, he brings that same expertise and dedication to his patients at CMH, helping them recover from injuries and return to the activities that matter most.

We’re proud to have providers like Dr. Sullivan on Team CMH, making an impact in Maine and beyond.

Some people have a way of making you feel welcome from the moment you meet them. At CMMC, Karla is one of those people. 💙

As a greeter, Karla is often one of the first faces patients, visitors and team members see when they walk through our doors. She offers a warm hello, helps people find their way and takes the time to make sure they feel cared for.

And if you work at CMMC, there’s a good chance Karla knows you! She seems to know just about everything and everyone. If she doesn’t have the answer, you can count on her to help you find it.

It may sound like a simple thing, but having someone who makes people feel seen, welcomed and supported can make a big difference in their day. Karla brings that spirit to CMMC every day, and we’re grateful she’s part of our team.

100 years of caring for the River Valley, and what better way to celebrate than alongside the community that has been part of our story for a century! ❤️

Our Rumford Hospital team had a wonderful time walking in the parade, seeing familiar faces and celebrating this special milestone with the people and families we’re proud to serve.

A big thank you to everyone who waved and cheered us on, and especially to our team members who came out to represent Rumford Hospital. Your dedication to this community is what makes our 100-year legacy so meaningful.

Imagine caring for a newborn, watching them grow up, and one day welcoming them back as a parent. ❤️

For Dr. David Baker, that’s what 36 years of caring for families in Central Maine has looked like.

Dr. Baker joined CMMC right out of residency in 1990 and went on to build a remarkable career in pediatrics. Along the way, he became a trusted physician to generations of local families and a valued colleague to so many across our healthcare system.

Last week, his colleagues gathered to celebrate his retirement and the incredible impact he’s made throughout his career.

His story is a beautiful reminder of the lasting relationships that make a career in healthcare so meaningful. The care we provide today can touch families for generations.

Dr. Baker, thank you for 36 years of dedication, kindness and compassionate care. Your impact on our patients, colleagues and community will be felt for years to come.

When a coworker is having one of those days when the problem feels especially difficult, Bonita Gagne is someone they know they can turn to. ⭐

As a patient access analyst at Central Maine Healthcare, Bonita’s work often happens behind the scenes, but her impact is felt across CMH. During some of our organization’s most challenging moments, she has stepped in without hesitation, bringing knowledge, compassion and a steady presence to the people around her.

Her colleague Sarah Shaw describes Bonita as someone who finds solutions to complex problems and chooses the right way forward, even when it isn’t the easiest one.

It’s that kind of coworker you remember. Someone who shows up, helps find a way forward and makes a difficult day a little easier for the people around her.

That dedication has earned Bonita recognition as a CMH SuperSTAR! ⭐
