When Sophie first came to Compassion, her family was navigating sleep struggles, constipation, visual processing challenges, emotional regulation, and a plateau in her growth. They had already poured so much into supporting her through different therapies, but were looking for help through a plateau.

About a month into neurologically focused care, Mom began noticing some incredible wins: better sleep, improved digestion, more regulation, improved vision and tracking, and even being able to step away from vision therapy. 🥹

Meltdowns at every transition aren’t a behavior problem. They’re a nervous system one.

When the gas pedal is stuck on and the brake pedal is offline, every transition makes your child panic. It can turn leaving the park, turning off the screen, and even walking into school feeling like a threat when their gas pedal is stuck on. 😣

They can’t reward-chart their way out of a dysregulated nervous system. We have to address the root causes first.
