We've been having such a fun time with our sweet little Bright Beginnings group! 🎵 I love seeing the kids getting to know each other and engaging more and more each time. This group is limited to 5 kids at a time, so it's always small, and we do our best to avoid overstimulation. We often have kids who are only children, learning to be comfortable around and share with other kids, or kids with developmental delays who need a little more one-on-one attention. We also incorporate English and Spanish language children's songs into the class.

¡Lo estamos pasando genial con nuestro encantador grupo "Bright Beginnings"! 🎵 Me encanta ver cómo los niños se conocen entre sí e interactúan cada vez más. El grupo está limitado a 5 niños a la vez, por lo que siempre es pequeño, y nos esforzamos por evitar la sobreestimulación. A menudo hay niños que son hijos únicos y están aprendiendo a sentirse cómodos y a compartir con otros niños, o hay niños con retrasos en el desarrollo que necesitan un poco más de atención personalizada. También incorporamos canciones infantiles tanto en inglés como en español en la clase.

2026 Summer programs are coming to an end! 🌞😎

We've had such a great Summer, from our social music therapy programs and music camps in the Wildwood Offices, to our many partnerships with other inclusive and adaptive Summer camps and programs in Lexington and beyond. Thank you to everyone who let us be a part of your Summer plans. To our school age families, we wish you a smooth transition into the school year!

Social Music Therapy is back for the Fall and will be open to more ages! K–5 and middle/high schoolers are invited to join us every other week starting August 20th to build connections through music.

We are so excited about the increase in confidence we are already seeing in our participants and can't wait to meet even more new faces.

* Two groups: Elementary Age, Middle- and High-Schoolers
* Alternating Thursdays
* 5:15pm – 6:00pm
* $25 per group, Sibling add-on ($15)

Designed for school age kids and teens to build peer friendships while practicing skills like self-awareness and awareness of others, peer to peer interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, attention and listening, taking turns, personal space, and teamwork and leadership.

Some of our music therapists were able to get together this weekend to celebrate Wildwood's 5th birthday. Each one of our therapists (those not pictured, too!) makes Wildwood special and we are so grateful to each of you for the care you give our clients.

Also a special thank you to all the significant others and friends of Wildwood who came to support and have been supporting behind the scenes in so many ways, only one of which being carrying around equipment and instruments for years. 😅 You all are rockstars. 🎸
