Call for Coaches!

Surgical resident burnout remains a serious challenge, especially for women trainees. As an AWS Coach, you can help change that. Join a community of practicing surgeons trained in positive psychology and coaching techniques who support residents in reflecting on their training, setting goals, and building resilience. One coach training will take place at the 2026 AWS Annual Conference in DC on September 25, with remaining trainings and coaching sessions held virtually.
