Velma Taylor came to Pine Acres with one goal: to get stronger and return home.
Throughout her recovery, she faced difficult moments, but she never had to face them alone. Velma shared her heartfelt appreciation for the Pine Acres team, especially Sean, Camryn, Abbie, and Sierra, whose encouragement, compassion, and dedication helped her continue moving forward.
She gave special recognition to Sean, her physical therapist, for constantly motivating her and helping her stay focused on her recovery, even during the hardest days.

Today, all that determination has paid off.
Velma is going home. ❤️

Every milestone is worth celebrating, and Kevin Jordan's journey is one we're incredibly proud to share. 💙

When Kevin was admitted to Pine Acres, he was non-weight-bearing and unable to transfer safely on his own. Through determination and the support of our exceptional therapy team, he gained the strength, confidence, and skills needed to safely transfer while maintaining his weight-bearing precautions.

As Kevin prepared for discharge, he shared how much he would miss Pine Acres and thanked the entire team for making such a positive impact on his recovery.

"I love all of the staff. Thank you to everyone—especially Therapy—for helping me get stronger and work toward my goals."

Success starts with determination and the right support. 💙

When Teresa Harrison was admitted to Pine Acres, she was unable to stand on her own. Today, she is discharging home walking independently and managing all of her self-care activities.

This was Teresa's second stay with us, and she shared how pleased she has been with her rehabilitation experience. She praised our physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams for their dedication, kindness, and personalized approach to care. Teresa also credited our therapy equipment with helping her regain strength and mobility.

Her words mean the world to us: if she ever needs rehabilitation services again, Pine Acres would be her choice.

Congratulations, Teresa, on your incredible progress! We wish you continued health, happiness, and success at home.
