ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice RAH’s quality of care continues to rank well above both state and national averages.

We are a community based non-profit healthcare organization specializing in supporting people with advanced illness and their families by providing palliative care, hospice and grief counseling as they navigate the winding down of this life journey. Rockbridge Area Hospice (RAH) is the only local non-profit hospice and palliative care organization serving Lexington, Buena Vista, Rockbridge County

and the surrounding area. We exist as a part of our community’s healthcare system to provide knowledge, reassurance and support focused on honoring people’s wishes as they approach an unknown part of life. In fact, Medicare surveys show that that 96% of our patients’ family and friends would recommend our services to others. That is 12% higher than the national average and the highest of any hospice in our service area.
