Julia's cheerful spirit brightens even the busiest days, and her great sense of humor always brings smiles to those around her.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my job is building relationships and talking with my patients. I love getting to know them, helping them through different stages of their life, and making a positive impact on their health and wellbeing 💖 🤝.

What’s one thing you can’t work without?
Definitely coffee and chocolate. Coffee helps me power through the days, and I always have a sweet tooth for chocolate ☕🍫.

What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?
I’m a state champion power lifter 💪 🏆.

What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever visited?
Costa Rica. I love the beautiful scenery, wildlife , and experiencing a different culture 🌎 🌴🦜.

If you could learn any skill instantly, what would it be?
If I could instantly learn any skill, it would be to speak Spanish. Being bilingual would help me connect even more with my patients 🗣️🤗.

What’s the most daring thing you’ve done?
Probably scuba diving. It is exciting to step out of my comfort zone and experience an entirely different world underwater 🤿 🐠.

What’s something you’re obsessed with currently?
Diet Coke, gummy worms, ice cream… and if I’m being completely honest, my baby too. 🥤 🍦 👶💕

Thank you for the exceptional care you provide, Julia, and for being such a wonderful part of our team. We are grateful for everything you do and look forward to many more years of laughter, dedication , and making a difference together. Happy Anniversary! 💜

✨Employee Anniversary Spotlight✨
Jason Dillard, MSEd, LIMHP, LADC, NCC
June 1, 2017

Today we recognize Jason Dillard as he celebrates his 9 year work anniversary. He joined our team on June 1, 2017. As a Mental Health Counselor, Jason has dedicated his career to helping individuals navigate through life's challenges, while fostering resilience, personal growth, and well-being. He provides compassionate care to patients and lends his expertise to help us solve any unexpected technology issues we encounter. Jason consistently contributes to the success of our organization and those we serve. We are grateful to have Jason as a valued member of our PCMG team.

💬 Get to Know Jason:

How did you get into this field.
-I grew up with two uncles who had severe limitations, one having a developmental issue that developed during the first year of his life. Every year we would bring him home with us for 24 hours (that was enough for him as the facility he lived in was his home). He would stay with us and we had the same predictable routine during that day which I learned to really enjoy. To me, this was simply my uncle, not someone with a severe developmental issue, so I have always been drawn to mental health and helping others.

What's one thing you cannot work without?
- My pen! Whether I'm going in for a full day or work or getting ready to work on things around the house, I do not go anywhere without a pen in my pocket. My wife and all three of my kids can confirm this.

What's the most interesting place you've ever visited?
I have had the pleasure of spending 18 days in Italy over Christmas and New Year's for my honeymoon in 2015. We visited everything Rome has to offer including the Pantheon, Colosseum, and Vatican City. We spent 6 days of that trip on the Amalfi coast in Southern Italy being able to watch New Year's fireworks over the Bay of Naples.

What's a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?
-I'm an introvert by nature which means I re-charge by being alone and having time to myself. I also chose a profession that puts me in front of people talking to them for extended periods of time, all day long. My frequent absence from the break room has very little to do with my co-workers (who I absolutely love working with) and everything to do with me needing to recharge or "conserve my social battery" throughout the day.

What's your favorite movie or book, and why?
-"Best Served Cold", a book about revenge. I read this book in college and for some reason it was one that I just could not set down. I'm not a spiteful or revengeful person, in fact I'm fairly quick to forgive others, but reading this book at that time in my life was very impactful and it’s the only book I've re-read on a regular basis. I also really enjoy a book called "Tuesdays with Morrie".

Thank you, Jason, for your continued commitment to deliver high-quality mental health care to our community. Your professionalism, knowledge, and dedication have made a meaningful impact over the past 9 years. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you. Congratulations on your work anniversary!
👏💜

⭐ Gabby Sager
Spanish Interpreter | June 28, 2008

For 18 years, Gabby has been so much more than a Spanish interpreter at Plum Creek Medical Group. She’s a problem‑solver, a hard worker and a steady source of support for patients and staff. She’s known for stepping in wherever she’s needed and always has a hard time saying no, simply because she cares that much.

Gabby’s compassion and dedication have shaped countless patient experiences and strengthened our team in immeasurable ways. ✨

• How did you end up at PCMG?
I had recently moved here from California, was attending college part-time, and needed a job. I saw an ad in the newspaper, and my older sister encouraged me to apply; even though I really didn’t want to. She kept insisting, so I finally gave in and applied. I interviewed and was working here two days later. In my mind, this was only supposed to be a temporary job until I finished school…

• What has kept you here over the years?
It’s rewarding to know that, even in a small way, I’m able to help someone. When I interpret for a patient, I’m able to help them communicate with the provider so they can receive the care they need. But honestly, a huge part of it is also my coworkers. It’s rare to find a workplace where you genuinely get along with almost everyone. We work hard, laugh a lot, and support each other like family, which definitely makes coming to work easier.

• What’s one thing people may not know about your role at PCMG?
I don’t just interpret; I also help manage and create content for our social media and website, monitor our patient portal (FollowMyHealth), organize holiday festivities, potlucks, and dress-up days at PCMG, and help coordinate community engagement events. Lately, I’ve also been training to help draw blood and run lab tests.

• What do you appreciate most about your coworkers?
Their patience with me, because sometimes I know I’m a 'little' all over the place. I truly consider my coworkers my extended family. I’ve spent my entire adult life here, and many of them have been alongside me through some of my biggest life milestones. That kind of connection is really special and not something I take for granted.

• What do you do for fun when you’re not at work?
Sports. My current obsession is pickleball, but I also play on soccer, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee teams. I also enjoy going to the movies with my family and attending my kids’ sporting events.

• What’s your biggest accomplishment?
My kids! Seeing them grow into their own unique personalities and watching them learn, grow, and accomplish things of their own.

• If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be?
Right now, I would say one of my house cats. I wouldn't mind living the ultimate rent-free luxury lifestyle with zero work obligations and up to 15 hours of naps a day. Free meals arriving on demand, your human servants adoring you endlessly, and your days are completely stress-free. NO bills, no job, no alarm clocks, just pure leisure and relaxation.

Gabby, thank you for 18 years of heart, service, and unwavering commitment. We are truly grateful for you. Congratulations on this incredible milestone! 🎉💜

Denise Serrano
Health Information Management | May 22nd, 1995

Since joining our team on May 22, 1995, Denise has witnessed tremendous changes in healthcare, technology, and the way we care for patients. For the past 31 years, she has remained steadfast, dependable, and deeply committed to doing things the right way. We are thankful for her dedication, reliability, experience and of course her delicious baked goods! 💙💻

💬 Get to know Denise:

What do you enjoy most about your job?
- Being able to help people. Whether it's a patient, nurse, business office personnel
or the doctors. I just like to be able to help when a helping hand is needed. I've
been here for 30+ years and if I didn't enjoy my jobs I wouldn't still be here. Every
job has its ups and downs and you just need to decide what you want to deal with and what makes you happy in the end. 😊

How has your role evolved since you started at PCMG?
- Straight out of college, I was offered a part time job. It was great 'cause this was where I wanted to work. It
ended up becoming full time. I started in transcription; now we
don't even have transcription.
When I started we had paper charts, and now it's all in the computer. It's all done on the computer by the docs and nurses! 💻📁

What's one thing you wish people knew about your job?
- I'm here to protect your records. It's never that I don't want to give them to the
patient, but I do have to do things the correct way. I like what I do, and would never want to give out records to someone that shouldn't have them. I would rather get in trouble for not giving out records than get into trouble for giving them out to the wrong person. I can always give them out at a later time but I wouldn't be able to take them back if they were given out to the wrong person. 📁🛡️

What's one thing you can't work without?
-My fabulous co-workers (past and present)!!! I have met a lot of people in my time here and have formed some great friendships!!! I miss the ones that have retired or moved to other jobs. I still see a few of them and even still spend time with them. 🤝💙

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
- My parents. To be able to actually say goodbye and thank them for all they did for
me. They were a big part of my life as a single parent of 2 daughters. They helped
me in so many ways and were my biggest supporters. I sure do miss them every day. 🕊️❤️

What's a skill or hobby you have outside of work?
- If you know me you know!! I love to make homemade greeting cards and 3D items
(boxes, gifts, calendars, etc.). I got into stamping cards over 20 years ago. I quit
smoking and started another habit (that's what my mom said anyway). I have a
room full of stamps, punches, die cuts, paper, ribbon, and lots of other stuff. I also
love to make mini breads and cookies. One year my mom and I made 400 dozen
(yep you read that right 400) cookies in December for a vet clinic to have for
customers to enjoy during the Christmas month. 🍪🎁✨

Denise, thank you for over three decades of hard work! Your knowledge and dedication to protecting our patients health information doesn't go unnoticed. We are so grateful for the impact you’ve made over the years. Congratulations on this amazing milestone! 🎉💜
