Something I've been thinking about lately...
We hear a lot about cortisol and stress, but what many people don't realize is that some of the most powerful ways to lower cortisol aren't found in a supplement bottle.
They're found in everyday moments.
A good night's sleep. A walk outside. A long hug from someone you love. Laughing until your stomach hurts.
Spending time in prayer. Listening to music. Reading a good book. Petting your dog. Watching a sunset. Taking a break without feeling guilty.
As a health coach, I've noticed that many people are constantly searching for the next thing to improve their health while overlooking the simple habits that help regulate the nervous system every day.
Your body was designed to heal, restore, and recover—but it needs moments of peace to do that.
Today, instead of asking, "What should I add to my routine?" maybe ask yourself:
"What can I do today that helps me slow down?"
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is breathe deeply, step outside, and remind your body that it's safe.
💚
Blessings to you all
