Gov. Andy Beshear announced this week that a state budget surplus and unexpected corporate tax revenue will be used to reverse the 4% Medicaid provider cuts that were scheduled to take effect August 1st. This means providers will not see the reduced reimbursement rate that had been planned.

While this is welcome news, KAC will continue to monitor Medicaid funding closely.
