Bluegrass Community Health Center Bluegrass Community Health Center is dedicated to providing complete medical care

Bluegrass Community Health Center, originally established in 2001 as a migrant farm worker health center, is a licensed primary health care center, providing preventive and primary health care for residents of eight central Kentucky counties: Fayette, Madison, Clark, Scott, Bourbon, Woodford, Jessamine and Garrard. Bluegrass Community Health Center, a patient centered medical home, has provided care to Kentucky families for more than 20 years. BCHC has four clinic locations, a pharmacy, and two mobile health clinics that provide complete medical care to adults and children, including counseling services, women's health and well child visits.

In honor of National Health Center Week, we celebrated Population Focus Day at our New Life Day Center clinic, serving neighbors who may be experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

At BCHC, we believe everyone deserves high quality care, dignity and respect, without limitations. For the fifth year, we were honored to partner with New Life Day Center to provide lunch, hygiene essentials and help navigating care and community resources.

This is always one of our favorite days of the week because we get to watch our incredible staff go above and beyond for the communities we serve. 💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make
our Back-to-School Bash such a success, and a special thanks to United Healtcare, for their partnership to make this event possilbe!

Thanks to our incredible community, we were able to give away nearly 200 backpacks to local families while providing a fun, one-stop destination for back-to-school essentials.

Families enjoyed health services, Kona Ice, a bounce house, a live DJ, and most importantly, a place where kids could simply be kids. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and united healthcare community plan for partnering with us to make this event so special.

📣 We’re Hiring: Director of Clinical Operations

Bluegrass Community Health Center is seeking an experienced and motivated healthcare leader to serve as our Director of Clinical Operations.

This full-time leadership position will oversee clinical operations across BCHC locations, support and develop clinical staff, promote high-quality patient-centered care, and help ensure operational and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree is required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Kentucky
• Supervisory and community health experience preferred

💼 Salary range: $80,000–$95,000
