The Birth Haven is Central Kentucky's only 24/7 on call doula service. Doulas provide, emotional, informational and physical support as well as non-medical care for women and their families. What actually counts as exercise during pregnancy or postpartum? 🤍
Not intense workouts. Not “bouncing back.”
Think:
✔ A 10-minute walk
✔ Gentle stretching
✔ Deep breathing
✔ Moving your body in a way that feels good
That’s it. That’s enough.
Your body is doing (or has done) something incredible - and movement should support that, not stress it.
And if you’re postpartum? Healing comes first. Always.
