✨ Resident Spotlight: Beverly ✨

Beverly was chosen as our August Resident Spotlight, and we’re honored to share a little of her remarkable story.

At 11 years old, Beverly began taking tap dancing lessons and competing in performances throughout the area. She dreamed of one day dancing on Broadway. At 13, her dancing teacher contacted Juilliard School in New York, and representatives came to watch her perform. They wanted Beverly to move to Chicago and train to become a professional dancer.

Her journey took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with polio and became paralyzed from the neck down. Through this life changing experience, Beverly’s faith remained strong. She believes that while God took one gift away, He gave her another: a love for people.

Today, Beverly loves giving and receiving hugs, telling others, “I love you,” and sharing her kindness with everyone around her.

Beverly loves living at Deepwood Estates and has a special message for new residents: “We’re one big family, and you’ll never find love like we have here.”

We are grateful to celebrate Beverly, her incredible strength, her faith, and the love she shares with our community each day.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Owen 🌟

Owen has been a valued Server at Deepwood Estates since 2025. He is known for being dependable, hardworking, and a joy to work with, making him a wonderful part of the team.

Owen is a high school senior this year and enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his friends. Outside of work, he also enjoys cooking and baking.
