Did you know that simple, everyday phrases can help build your child's communication skills?
Verbal routines are short, predictable phrases you use during daily activities. Repeating the same words each time helps children understand what's happening, build confidence, and begin to anticipate routines. Over time, they may even start saying the words with you!
Try using verbal routines like:
-"Time for a bath!"
-"Wash your hands!"
-"Time to eat!"
-"Ready, set, go!"
-"1, 2, 3, go!"
-"Let's put your shoes on!"
