At Bluegrass Recovery, we believe that every person deserves love, respect, dignity, and the opportunity to heal.
As Christians, we follow the example of Jesus. He spent time with people from all walks of life not just those who looked like Him, believed like Him, or lived like Him. He led with love, compassion, and grace.
We understand that people may have different beliefs and opinions, but we do not believe anyone should be discriminated against, excluded, or treated as less than because of who they are.
Our doors are open to everyone.
No matter your background, your story, your struggles, or your identity, you will be treated with kindness, respect, and compassion here.
We choose love. We choose recovery. We choose people.
“Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34
In honor of Pride Month, we also take a moment to recognize those who have experienced discrimination, rejection, violence, or loss because of who they are or whom they love.
To those who have felt they had to hide, live in fear, or struggle alone, we see you. Your life has value. Your story matters.
As a symbol of respect, reflection, and compassion, Bluegrass Recovery will observe a Day of Silence 6/6/2026 in remembrance of those who have suffered and in support of a future where every person is treated with dignity and humanity.
May we all choose kindness over judgment, compassion over division, and love over hate.
With that being said tonight please take the time to remember Matthew Shepard. He was a 21-year-old college student at the University of Wyoming who was brutally beaten, tied to a fence, and left to die in Wyoming in 1998. His murder became one of the most well-known anti-gay hate crimes in U.S. history and helped lead to stronger federal hate-crime laws.
