Nothing says Christmas like having your entire family all around you and a Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings to share with them! That was the biggest surprise for our patient Joyce last Wednesday evening. Jon, Joyce's RNCM, and Tiffany, owner of One More Time, out of Coeur d'Alene, ID, put together an extravaganza for the entire family to give Joyce her best Christmas gift ever. Tiffany made sure each grandchild had 2 gifts to open, and each daughter, along with Joyce, all had matching pajamas and a feast like no other, including a homemade Birthday cake, as Joyce is also having her Birthday this week. There were tons of smiles, laughing, and pure happiness as each family member got to spend individual time with Joyce. We took lots of pictures for a memory book, and all left feeling we had experienced the true meaning of Christmas.

Here at our Liberty Lake, WA branch, teamwork is alive and well! We have a patient who told his RNCM Jon that he LOVES the Seattle Seahawks. So Jon told the Volunteer Service Manager, who told the patient's Social Worker, Lacie. She went right out and found a soft, cuddly Seahawk blanket and took it to our patient, who was thrilled and gave us a big smile! Keep up the good teamwork, and GO HAWKS!
