We’ve been staying busy, having fun, and making wonderful memories! 🥰 Our residents have enjoyed activities, games, crafts, music, outings, delicious treats, and plenty of smiles and laughter. 🎨🎶🎲🍪🚌

Every day brings something new, and we love seeing our residents enjoying time with friends, trying new things, and sharing special moments together. ❤️

Every day, our therapy teams help residents reach goals they weren't sure they could achieve. They help residents rebuild strength, restore independence, and grow confidence one step at a time.

This is what that looks like in action. Debra, a resident at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation, spent two months in bed after a fall, and she thought she wasn't going to get better. Her therapy team encouraged her when she didn't want to get up, and Debra put in the work needed to improve. Today, she walks 10,000 steps a day!

Debra put it simply: "I don't want to go back to where I was. I got a second chance and I told God, you give me a second chance, I'll make the best of it."

That is the power of rehabilitation. We celebrate National Rehabilitation Awareness Week by honoring the therapists who make moments like this possible.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever. Today, on the anniversary of September 11th attacks, we pause to remember the lives lost. We honor the heroes whose courage still inspires us, including the firefighters, police officers, and first responders who ran toward danger to save others.

Some of our residents and stakeholders recently had the opportunity to experience the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Steel Across America exhibit firsthand when it visited Signature HealthCARE of Monroe County Rehab & Wellness Center. Seeing a steel beam from the World Trade Center up close gave them a powerful moment to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to those who gave everything that day.

We're especially grateful to our residents who proudly served our country. We also thank the first responders, past and present, who continue to protect our communities every day. Your sacrifice and dedication continue to shape who we are as a nation, and we will never forget.

Today and always, we remember.

Long before Ricky Dotson called Prestonsburg Health Care Center home, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including time as a sniper. During his years of service, Ricky was wounded twice, leaving a lasting mark on his life.

Resident athletes from Signature HealthCARE communities across Central and Eastern Kentucky came together today for one of our largest regional Signature Olympics competitions of the year in Wi******er, Kentucky.

From the grand entrances to the final medals, our athletes brought plenty of competition, team spirit and joy. They remind us once again that determination has no age limit.

Teresa Wall, CEO of Signature HealthCARE of Erin, and Andrea Batson, CEO of Signature HealthCARE of Clarksville, are sisters who share a passion for leadership and a dedication to our residents, families and stakeholders.

The Signature Olympics made their way to Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, today!

Resident athletes from four Signature HealthCARE communities came ready to compete, cheer on their teammates and have some fun along the way. Judging by the dance floor, our stakeholders had just as much fun cheering them on!

From sinking baskets to bringing home medals, our athletes continue to show us that determination has no age limit and there’s always a reason to celebrate what you can accomplish.
