Last night was Volunteer Orientation Night at Camp🎪 Anchor! 💛

We welcomed an incredible 320 high school volunteers who will spend six weeks in the summer sun caring for our precious campers, creating friendships, memories, and making a difference every single day. ☀️❤️

Not only do they give their time, but they also raise an amazing amount of money each year to support the APF. This year’s fundraiser is our favorite — Double Good Popcorn! 🍿

Camp🎪 Anchor + Volunteers + Double Good Popcorn = the perfect combination! ❤️🍿💛

Thank you, volunteers, for your dedication, energy, and big hearts. We can’t wait for an amazing summer! ☀️🎪💛

I am truly honored to acknowledge an ANCHOR VOL and new staff member Giovanna Sepe.

Gio was the recipient of an award given to an outstanding graduate (H.Frank Carey HS, Sewanhaka SD) who will be going on to study Special Education.

What a great night at The Harrison! The food, drinks, and generosity were flowing as the Garden City Welcoming Club 🍍held its final fundraiser of the season.

As we mentioned before, The Anchor Program Fund was honored to be selected as their charity this year. We are especially grateful to Tara McCarton, APF’s newly appointed Vice President, for introducing Camp ⚓️ ANCHOR and the APF to the GCWC.

A heartfelt thank you to Kerry McKeever, GCWC President, and all the incredible members who worked so hard to make these fundraisers a success. For years, the Garden City community has provided Camp ANCHOR with some of our very best high school volunteers—and now we’ve learned they have some pretty amazing volunteer parents too!
