💼 CLINICAL DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clinical leadership and support to BCBAs and RBTs
• Monitor clinical quality and ensure high standards of ABA services
• Support staff with treatment planning, supervision, and clinical decision-making
• Collaborate with families and team members
• Help develop and maintain a positive, supportive clinic culture
• Ensure services and documentation meet ethical and professional standards

ABA is about so much more than what happens during a therapy session!  Through individualized support, children can build meaningful skills in communication, independence, social interactions, and everyday routines.

This week we’re talking about Prompt Delay!
Sometimes the best thing we can do is simply give our learners a little time! Prompt delay allows a child the opportunity to respond independently before help is provided.

Those few extra seconds can help build confidence, reduce prompt dependence, and encourage greater independence.

Remember: Pause. Give them time. Let them try.

Today, our ABA clinic had the incredible opportunity to learn alongside local law enforcement and their K9 partners during a police service dog development day. Our learners had the chance to experience, observe, and learn about working dogs while practicing important skills in a real-world community setting.
We’re grateful for the officers, handlers, and K9s who helped make this experience both educational and meaningful. Experiences like these help bridge the gap between therapy and the community—creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to safely participate, learn, and connect. 🐕‍🦺💙
