About our Staff

Monique Torres, PA-C

Monique grew up in California until she joined the military which landed her here in NC. She decided to stay and has been here for the past 20 years. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, receiving her Master of Health Sciences
and became board certified as a Physician Assistant. Her background includes emergency medicine which helped her land her position w

ith a private practice for her first couple of years as a provider. She started out in Lillington NC and has now opened her own practice. She continues to work in the emergency rooms of Harnett County as well. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. She cares for newborns through end of life. Special interests include diabetes management, mental health, and emergency medicine. In her free time, Monique enjoys spending time with her family doing anything outdoors, she’s adventurous, and big into fitness. Education

A few years ago, Legacy Christian Academy was just a dream… a vision in our hearts and a prayer we kept placing before God.

Now, that dream is becoming reality. 🙌
This Fall 2026, the doors of Legacy Christian Academy will officially open, and we could not be more excited for what God is about to do through this next generation.
