SMART recovery has not been active in Lima for quite some time. Is there anyone local who is interested in becoming a facilitator?

Studies have shown that most addictive behaviors are a direct result of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs.) Addictive behavior is often what we will engage in as a way to limit our emotional pain when we can’t think of another way to do so. Having PTSD is likely to result in addiction as well.
Our addictive behavior didn't just pop out of nowhere; something most likely went terribly wrong in our past, and dysfunctional responses to our problems can be the result. We need help and compassion, not condemnation.

Monday September 25th we will meet for the last time at The Path location. We will relocate back to Lima public library the first Monday of October. Meeting time is still 4:30pm, hope to see you there!!
