It takes only 8mm of pressure (the weight of a dime) to cause interference in the nerves of the body. This can be manifested in many ways including: headaches (my personal favorite to work with!), neck/back stiffness or pain, digestive problems, intense cramping during cycle, allergies, asthma, ear infections, or maybe no noticeable symptoms at all until one day you bend over to pick up your 2 year old and a sharp, shooting pain knocks you to the ground. All of these things can be prevented. It is best to start your family early in their life, as Birth is one of the greatest traumas a person goes through, for both mother and especially child. If 8mm of pressure is all it takes to cause interference, imagine what 10-20lbs of force can do to an infant's system as he/she is pulled from mother's body (either vaginally or via C-section). Chiropractic works to relieve nervous interference by removing what is called a Subluxation. This is what occurs when your body is unable to handle all of the stresses put upon it, causing the bones of your spine to shift out of their natural alignment which in turn causes interference to the nervous system resulting in the above mentioned issues. My 3yo just woke up from his nap screaming in pain, pointing to his stomach. Would take deep breaths, was hyperventilating, & wouldn’t communicate more like he usually does. Absolutely gut wrenching as I tried to console him like a mom would. Then I remembered that I wasn’t just ”Mom”, I’m a ChiroMom & we have extra superpowers! 😉Went to the ileocecal valve, did a little sustained contact & gentle massage. Almost immediately he stopped screaming & actually fell back asleep.

Just a heads up, but I will be out of the office most of next week (Monday for Memorial Day & then Wed-Fri, June 1-3 for a professional growth seminar).
