Joyful Noise Therapy Group is excited to announce our 1st Annual Backpack Drive!

This Year’s Theme:

⚡️🎒PACK TO THE FUTURE🎒⚡️

A backpack today. A brighter future tomorrow.

At Joyful Noise Therapy Group, we believe every child deserves to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited for what’s ahead. That’s why we’re proud to launch what we hope will become an annual tradition of giving back to our community.

This year, we’re partnering with Lincoln Elementary School to help provide students with the supplies they need for a successful school year.

After speaking with the school counselor, we learned that the greatest need is for NEW clear and mesh backpacks packed with school supplies. These backpacks will go directly to students who need a little extra support as they head back to school.

But we want to do more than provide school supplies, we want every child to know they are seen, valued, and capable of accomplishing great things. ❤️

Each backpack will also include a handwritten note of encouragement filled with positive words, reminding students that they are loved, believed in, and capable of achieving their dreams.

❤️ We’re proud to kick off our first annual drive with a $500 donation toward backpacks and school supplies because we believe in leading by example.

Now it’s your turn!

📣 We’re challenging local businesses, churches, civic organizations, and families to help us “Pack to the Future!” Whether you donate one backpack or fifty, every contribution helps give a child the confidence to walk through the school doors ready to learn.

✨ Help Us Continue Creating Magical Therapy Spaces for Our Children! ✨

At Joyful Noise Therapy Group, we believe therapy should be a place where children are excited to learn, play, and grow.

Over the past several months, we’ve transformed many of our therapy spaces into immersive, play-based environments, and the response from our children has been incredible. We’ve watched children eagerly ask which room they’ll be in that day, become more engaged during therapy sessions, and build meaningful skills through imaginative play.

Some of the spaces we’ve already created include:

🍦 The Ice Cream Room

🚜 The Farm Room

🖤💛 The Black & Gold Sports Room

🏘️ The Community Room – a space where children practice gross motor skills, social interaction, and real-world play through engaging community-themed activities.

Seeing the joy and excitement these spaces have brought to our children has inspired us to continue expanding!

We’re currently looking for community partners to help us create and enhance the following therapy environments:

🍎 Pre-K Readiness Classroom
A classroom designed to help children develop the academic, communication, social, and classroom routines they’ll need for a successful transition into preschool and kindergarten.

🏕️ Forest Explorer Room
A woodland-inspired space featuring camping, forest animals, hiking adventures, and nature exploration that encourages imagination, language development, problem-solving, and curiosity.

🖤💛 Black & Gold Sports Room Enhancements
Our sports room has already become a favorite among our children, but we’d love to continue adding equipment and interactive features to make it even more engaging. Additional investments will help us expand opportunities for gross motor development, coordination, balance, teamwork, and movement-based learning.

🚜 Outdoor Construction Zone
An interactive outdoor space where children can dig, build, climb, push, pull, and strengthen gross motor skills while engaging in imaginative play and teamwork.

As a thank-you, each sponsored room or major project will feature a custom plaque displayed outside the therapy room recognizing the individual, family, business, or organization that helped make it possible. It’s a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy while supporting the hundreds of children and families we serve each year.

What Is a Flex Schedule?

At Joyful Noise, we understand that life happens! Between school activities, sports, vacations, illnesses, family commitments, and busy work schedules, it can sometimes be difficult to consistently attend a standing therapy appointment.

For this reason, some families may be placed on a Flex Schedule.

A Flex Schedule does not mean your child has been discharged, and it does not mean your child no longer needs therapy. Your child remains an active client with our clinic and is still eligible to receive services.

The difference is that instead of having the same appointment reserved each week, the parent or caregiver will contact our office to schedule appointments based on current availability and what works best for their family’s schedule that week.

✨ Benefits of a Flex Schedule:

• More flexibility for families with changing schedules

• Less stress when appointments are frequently missed due to other commitments

• Continued access to therapy services without being discharged

• Allows appointment openings to be offered to children who are currently waiting for therapy services

A Flex Schedule is often recommended when a child has had multiple missed appointments, frequent scheduling changes, or when a family’s availability varies from week to week. It helps us make the best use of our schedule while continuing to support your child’s therapy needs.

We know every family’s situation is different, and our goal is always to partner with you to find the scheduling option that works best for your child. If you have any questions about our Flex Schedule, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office. We’re always happy to help!

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Emilie to the Joyful Noise family!

Ms. Emilie graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and is nearing completion of her Clinical Fellowship year.

We are so thankful for her sweet personality, calm demeanor, and passion for helping children grow and succeed. We know she will be a wonderful addition to our team, and we can’t wait for all of our families to get to know her.
