BIG NEWS! 4 NEW PROGRAMS ARE COMING! 🎉

We're excited to announce the launch/re-branding of FOUR BRAND-NEW programs designed to create more opportunities for connection, learning, friendship, creativity, and FUN!!

👫Program #1: Best Buddies
This program brings people together, build confidence, and creates lifelong friendships! They meet the second Thursday of each month at various locations on UNL campus.

🤩 Program #2: Friends Club
This program brings adults with disabilities together to provide fellowship and fun while serving our community. They meet the second Friday of each from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

🍯Program #3: The Honeycomb Club
This program is designed for middle/high schoolers to come and bee them! This club meets the third Thursday of the month from 4pm to 5:30pm

🍳 Program #4: Socialize and Sizzle
This program is a 6-week hands on cooking class where you'll learn new skills, create delicious recipes and build friendships. Four sessions will be offered. Time is 10am to 12:30pm and must be registered to participate. Please call the office at 402-421-8866 for information.

I am deeply honored and humbled to be nominated for the 2026 Inspire Lincoln Excellence in Nonprofit Award. 💚

When I began this work, it was never about awards or recognition. It has always been about creating opportunities, removing barriers, and making sure people with intellectual and developmental disabilities—and their families—have a voice, are valued, and belong in our community.

This nomination represents so much more than me. It reflects the incredible self-advocates who courageously share their stories, the families who trust us, the dedicated staff and volunteers who give so much of themselves, and the community partners who believe inclusion makes Lincoln stronger. I am fortunate to stand beside all of you.

Congratulations to each of the outstanding 2026 Inspire Lincoln nominees! Your leadership, compassion, and commitment are making a lasting impact across our community. Lincoln is better because of each of you.

Thank you to the person who nominated me. Your confidence in my work is a gift I don’t take lightly, and I am truly grateful.
