Meet Dr. John Hiscock, one of our first-year resident physicians!

Inspired by watching his father manage Type 1 diabetes, Dr. Hiscock decided that becoming a Family Medicine doctor would allow him to care for patients of all ages and build lasting relationships throughout every stage of life. He is looking forward to meeting his new patients in the months ahead.

From Bennington, Nebraska, Dr. Hiscock earned his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University. He enjoys spending time with his partner, Grace, their cats, Milo and Ally, cooking, playing board and video games, and cheering on the Huskers.

Meet Dr. Tiffany Braun, one of our first-year resident physicians!

Dr. Braun’s passion for medicine started early. From studying how the body works in middle school to caring for patients as a CNA in high school, she quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help others and be part of their healthcare journey. Growing up in rural Boone, Iowa, family medicine allows her to build lasting relationships with patients through every stage of life. As a doctor on the Blue Medical Team, she's looking forward to meeting new patients at the clinic and providing the care they need.

Dr. Braun enjoys running, gardening, traveling, and planning her upcoming wedding in 2027.

Summer has arrived, and with it comes hot and sunny days. It's important to protect your skin from damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays. Here are some helpful tips.

• Find shaded areas when appropriate
• Wear sun-protective clothing
• Apply a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher
• Re-apply sunscreen after you swim

We are proud to provide our patients with access to talented physicians who choose Lincoln to complete their Family Medicine Residency training.
