Been so busy with the garden, the greenhouse, the container, garden livestock. You name it. Always something going on. Always something to do and got a rest in between. So here's a shot of the first two tomatoes that I have seen so far. Out pruning now so hopefully we'll find more!

Chives are blooming. They are so pretty. Just busy busy busy around the farm. Really don't have much time to post these days. We sold all of our turkeys. Put the pigs in the freezer along with two cows so we are now set for a good while with meat. I am so thankful that we could raise our own livestock and have our own food.
Working on the container garden as well as all the raised beds that I put in this year. So right now we have some lavender, some Rosemary, some sage, basil, basil, Dill and thyme. We just put in some cherry tomato plants and I got about 60 tomato plants to get planted. We've got a few watermelon, some squash and zucchini and some green beans as well as shallots and garlic. Haven't even gotten the big garden ready yet. That will mostly be different types of beans and some more tomato plants. Probably a row of sunflowers..
Happy planting!

We were in for a big surprise we went to pick up the two pigs we took to the processor I was expecting somewhere around 150 to 200 lb of meat per pig well we ended up with over 300 lb per pig so this is one freezer I just stuffed the meat in there as I am temporarily storing it for a family member who is coming to pick it up.
We had some of the sausage this morning with our own farm-raised eggs OMG so amazing!
