We had the best time singing, dancing, and celebrating with Totally Taylor at Proesel Park! Thank you to everyone who came out, brought their friendship bracelets, and helped us make our last concert of the summer one to remember.

This morning, we celebrated the official opening of the new universally accessible playground at Proesel Park, dedicated to Barry and Taffy Berger. Barry Berger joined us for a special ribbon cutting and plaque dedication in his honor.

Friends, family, and members of the community joined our Village and Park Boards, along with Village staff, for the celebration. The Barry & Taffy Berger Foundation generously supported this project, helping make the universally accessible playground possible, while also funding senior programs, summer camps, and so much more. We are incredibly grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to our community.

Make this fall an active one! Hot Shots gives kids the chance to try new sports, build confidence, develop skills, and have fun with friends. From basketball and soccer to volleyball and multi-sport games, there’s something for every young athlete!

Big news, Lincolnwood! 🎉 Portions of Proesel Park will reopen this Friday, August 28!

The playground, sand volleyball courts, shelter restrooms, and Madeleine’s Garden will be open, while the basketball, inline skate, and pickleball/tennis courts are nearing completion and will open soon.

Join us at 11am on Friday, August 28 for a ribbon cutting and plaque dedication celebrating the universally accessible playground dedicated to Barry and Taffy Berger.

Please note that some areas, including asphalt pathways and Field 4, will remain under renovation as work continues.

The trail along the east side of Centennial Park is temporarily closed due to ongoing shoreline stabilization work.

The adjacent parking lot is also closed during construction. Please use an alternate route and follow all posted signage.
