FLOTSAM River Circus is coming to Lincolnwood! 🌊🎪

Join this ragtag troupe of musicians, circus performers, and puppeteers for a FREE performance on the North Shore Channel at the Centennial Park Amphitheater.

Since 2019, Flotsam River Circus has traveled nearly 3,000 miles through 15 states, bringing creativity, community, and a little whimsy to waterfront towns.

All ages are welcome. Donations are appreciated

Proesel Progress Update 🏗️

The work on the south end of the park is progressing smoothly. Posts for the inline skate court are being installed, with tennis and pickleball courts up next. Grass seeding is complete, and several areas are now in their required curing phase to ensure safe use once reopened.

For everyone’s safety and to prevent delays, this portion of the park will remain closed and fenced off during construction. Thank you for your continued patience.

The regular season may be winding down, but there’s still time to cool off! ☀️🏊

Our post-season pool hours officially begin on Monday, August 17 and will run through Labor Day!

Tentative Post-Season Hours:

Aug. 17–Sept. 6
- Monday–Friday: 4:30–8pm
- Saturday–Sunday: 10am–7pm

Labor Day | Monday, Sept. 7
- 11am–5pm

Please note that post-season pool hours are staffing dependent and may be subject to change. Additional closures may be necessary and will be communicated here on our social media.

This new technology provides real-time weather monitoring and lightning detection, helping our staff make informed safety decisions for outdoor programs, athletic activities, special events, and facility operations.

Safety is always our priority, and Perry Weather is another tool helping us keep our community safe while enjoying all that Lincolnwood Parks & Recreation has to offer!
