We place our graduating students in front of employment opportunities.
Today we held a job fair for the graduating day class of the Massage Therapy Program at Brookdale Community College — and what an incredible experience it was for our students.
Our 700-hour program is designed to help students deeply understand how the body and its systems respond to massage techniques and therapeutic intervention. Throughout their training, students develop skills in:
• Health history intake
• Assessment and treatment planning
• Wellness and therapeutic massage
• Clinical reasoning
• Homecare recommendations
• Professional communication and client care
We were honored to welcome the following businesses today:
• Massage Envy | Shrewsbury
• Spavia | Clark, Bound Brook & Cedar Knolls
• Purple Stones Spa | Ocean Township
• Tao Massage | Asbury Park
• My Thai Wellness | Oceanport & Toms River
The students had a blast asking thoughtful questions, learning about different workplace environments, and connecting with potential future employers. The vendors shared that they truly enjoyed the experience as well.
Connecting students with opportunities in the profession is one of my favorite parts of teaching. Honestly, if you ask my students, they’ll probably tell you that nearly every part of their educational experience is “my favorite part.” Watching them grow into confident, skilled future massage therapists is something I never take for granted.
Thank you to every business that took the time to support and encourage our graduating class today. Your presence made a meaningful impact. 🤍
