Massage Therapy Program at Brookdale Community College

Overview
Brookdale's Therapeutic Massage program offers a unique, linear and student-focused learning experience. Students begin and graduate together as one class with a maximum of 12 students per program. We provide an excellent academic foundation and strong applied skills. Students will develop the knowledge and ability to effectively conduct a client assessment, create ethical treatment plans, deliver safe and effective massage therapy treatments, and evaluate the outcome of these treatments. Our lecture room provides visual and creative multi-media for learning the relevant sciences and pathology. The massage supply kit, which is included in tuition, is put to good use in our professional practical classroom boasting fully equipped massage bays and a hand-washing station to provide an exceptional practical learning experience. Nearing the end of the program, students will conduct therapeutic treatments to diverse audiences at the LMT supervised Student Massage Clinic located at Lincroft campus. Student liability insurance is included in our tuition as is a massage kit which provides supplies for a successful practical class experience. Financial aid is a possibility for many with a few different avenues to achieve assistance.
