My why…
I didn’t come to this work because it felt easy.
I came to it because I’ve seen what happens when support is missing.
I’ve seen mothers sit in hospital rooms feeling invisible.
I’ve seen families navigating fear, grief, and uncertainty without anyone truly staying with them in it.
I’ve seen how quickly people are expected to “move on” from experiences that change them forever.
And I’ve seen what changes when someone doesn’t leave.
When someone stays present.
When someone explains what’s happening.
When someone holds space without rushing the process.
When someone reminds a mother she still matters in the middle of everything.
That’s why The Cradle Collective exists.
Because birth, loss, NICU stays, and high-risk pregnancies are not just medical events—they are human experiences that deserve care, dignity, and continuity.
My work is not to replace medical care.
It is to support the emotional, informational, and practical gaps that often get left behind.
To be steady when things feel uncertain.
To be grounding when things feel overwhelming.
To be present when families feel alone.
This is my why:
Because no mother should have to go through the most vulnerable moments of her life without support that truly sees her.
