Your plantar fasciitis rehab shouldn’t only be stretching and ice.

Stretching and symptom management can be helpful, but lasting improvement often requires more.

💪 Strengthen the foot & ankle
⚖️ Improve foot and ankle stability
🏃 Gradually build tolerance to walking, running, and daily activity
🎯 Address the factors contributing to your symptoms

Your feet are designed to move, absorb load, and produce force. Rehab should help them do those things better—not simply make them hurt less.

If plantar fasciitis keeps coming back, it may be time to look beyond stretching and ice.

Friday Funny:

Wolff’s Law. Davis’s Law. Cole’s Law. 🥬

But seriously… it is important to properly stress injured tissues under the guidance of a PT to help them adapt, rebuild, and heal.

The right amount of stress = adaptation.
Too much = irritation.
Too little = no change.

Happy Friday!

Pain shouldn’t be the thing that determines what you can do.

Whether you’re dealing with an injury, chronic pain, weakness, or simply not moving like you used to, physical therapy can help you get back to moving with confidence.

At Buffalo River Rehab, we focus on more than just treating symptoms. We work with you to improve strength, mobility, movement, and function so you can get back to doing the things that matter to you.

Move better. Get stronger. Keep moving. 💪

I’ve never seen this much knee flexion just two days after a knee replacement. An incredible start to recovery! 💪

Back feeling stiff? Try these 4 simple spinal mobility exercises to get your spine moving again.

Today’s routine:
🔹 Single Knee to Chest – Improves low back and hip mobility.
🔹 Prone Press-Ups – Encourages lumbar extension and may help relieve stiffness from prolonged sitting.
🔹 Lower Trunk Rotations – Promotes gentle rotation and improves spinal mobility.
🔹 Thread the Needle – Improves thoracic spine mobility and helps reduce upper back stiffness.

These movements only take a few minutes and are a great way to keep your spine moving throughout the day. Remember, movement is one of the best things you can do for a healthy back.

⚠️ These exercises aren’t appropriate for every condition. If you experience increasing pain, numbness, tingling, or symptoms that travel down your leg, stop and seek guidance from a healthcare professional.

Save this routine for later, give it a try, and let us know which movement feels the best!

Single-leg strength and balance are essential for basketball performance, helping improve body control, power, landing mechanics, and injury resilience. Every rep is an investment in a stronger, more confident athlete on the court.

Train with purpose. Perform with confidence. 🏀💪
