Sometimes, the best moments are the simplest ones!

Margo, Hayden the helping lab (our four-legged friend!), and friends enjoyed some fresh air, furry companionship, and quality time together on one of our Nature Sacred benches at Fello Annapolis.

These special spaces offer a place to slow down, connect with nature, build friendships, and enjoy the little moments that make a big difference. And judging by the smiles, Haiden was the star of the afternoon!

Stop by Easton Elementary School today for the Talbot Community Resource Expo from 10:00AM to 1:00PM to say hi to the Fello team and learn more about the services and opportunities we offer Talbot County residents!

We're excited to connect with our Eastern Shore community, share how Fello supports people with disabilities and their families, and highlight the many ways we're helping people live, work, and thrive in their communities.

Game on at Fello at The Mall! Our Living Options & Services team brought the fun with a day of friendly competition, laughter, and connection for the people we support!

From playing games to making new friends, the day was all about bringing people together, building friendships, and creating great memories.

At Fello, we believe everyone deserves opportunities to connect, build meaningful relationships, and feel a sense of belonging. Days like this are about more than just having fun. They're about creating inclusive spaces where people with disabilities can build friendships, strengthen connections, and thrive in their communities.

Good games, great company, and plenty of smiles!

The remaining regional listening sessions have been canceled following important commitments from the Moore Administration.

The Maryland Department of Health has shared that they have a plan to open a portal this month for providers to submit information about unpaid services dating back to July 1, 2024. The Administration has committed to paying appropriate claims for that period involving gaps in Medicaid waiver coverage that were inconsistent with federal or state requirements. The Governor’s Office has also committed to working with us and the Department to address denials of dedicated hours for those with documented needs.

Thank you to the self-advocates, families, providers, and coalition partners whose collective advocacy has brought us to this point. Your stories, persistence, and partnership have made a difference. We will continue working to ensure these commitments lead to meaningful results and share updates as details become available.

Living Boldly is all about making your voice heard!

At this month's Living Boldly meeting, we welcomed two special guests, Chris Rogers, Director of Engagement at the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council, and Mary Manzoni, CEO of Maryland Works.

Chris shared opportunities for people with disabilities to serve as advocates on the DD Council, helping bring their voices, experiences, and perspectives directly to legislators.

Mary led an important conversation about voting in the upcoming General Election, including voting rights, how to prepare, and ways to overcome barriers to voting.

At Fello, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to have their voice heard, advocate for what matters to them, and help shape the communities where they live.

That's what Living Boldly is all about!

We're excited to share that Fello at The Mall received an Accessibility Citation at Anne Arundel County's annual DisAbility Awareness Day!

Since opening its doors, Fello at The Mall has become a welcoming, inclusive space where people of all abilities can connect, explore new opportunities, and build meaningful relationships.

Hosted by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities and the Commission on Disability Issues, DisAbility Awareness Day brought our community together to celebrate inclusion, accessibility, and the contributions of people with disabilities.

We're honored by this recognition and excited to continue making more possible for everyone!

Because of You, Transformation Happens.

Since 2017, Fello's Family Fund has awarded more than $500,000 to hundreds of Maryland families raising children with disabilities, helping them access therapies, adaptive equipment, educational programs, and experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.

In 2026 alone, 116 families received $136,071 in grants, all made possible through the generosity of donors like you!

From speech therapy and summer camps to mobility support and more, these grants create opportunities for children to learn, grow, connect, and thrive.

Behind every grant is a child, a family, and a story of what's possible when a community comes together.
