Dolores C. Ryan, October 10th, 2025

Dolores C. Ryan, 97, of Upper Chichester passed away on Tuesday, October 7th at Riddle Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born in 1928 to the late William and Ethel Clausson. She worked for 30 years at Harow Servo Controls in West Chester and then later went on to work in food service at the Boothwyn Elementary School until her retirement in 2011.

Dolores was a kind and gentle woman. She was the best mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could ask for. Anthony Costa, 91, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born on September 9, 1934, in Chester, PA, Anthony was a 1952 graduate of Chichester High School, where he proudly played on the football team. After graduation, he served his country in the U.S. Army as part of the 46th Engineering Battalion at Fort Hood, Texas and later continued his service in the National Guard.

Anthony was a dedicated entrepreneur, owning and operating Tri-Crystal Products in Upper Chichester for more than 55 years.
Anthony found joy in gardening, fishing, traveling and sharing stories from his life. He was never more at peace than in his garden or spending time at his summer home in Cape May, NJ. Above all, he cherished time with his family.

He was an active, long-time member of Concord Lodge No. 625, where he served as Past Master and Trustee for over 50 years.
Anthony will be dearly missed by his children, Donna (Rick White) Costa-White, Lauretta (Dan) O’Malley, Anthony Costa, and Jennifer Costa Wilkins; his grandchildren, Eric (Gracyn) White, Lauren O’Malley, Jacob Wilkins and Valerie Wilkins.

He is also survived by his sister, Louise Manning, his sister-in-law Ida Ottino and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie, his parents, Laura and Antonio Costa and his grandson, Stephen White.

A Receiving of Friends will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Upper Chichester, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anthony’s memory by sending a check with his name in the memo line to:

Catherine was raised and educated in Linwood and was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1979. She attended Vo-Tech for food services and went on to work in restaurant management for many years.

Joseph R. Flynn, Jr. passed away on Monday, March 3rd, 2025. He was born and raised in Marcus Hook, PA. Joseph was a graduate of Holy Saviour-St. John Fisher Elementary School. He was a student at Salesianum School and received his diploma from Summit Academy in Herman, PA in 2011. In his free time, Joseph enjoyed working on cars, hunting, crocheting, and fishing.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Joseph R. Flynn, Sr. and Catherine Liberato Flynn; sister, Gabrielle; sons, Lucas and Hunter; nephews, Christopher and Maverick; niece, Iris Mae; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
