Huge shout out to Ransom County Soil Conservation for donating a bunch of apricot tree starters to add to our mini-orchard. Also, a giant thank you to Robert Fauss and Magnolia Walton for helping me plant 50+ trees tonight. We planted pears, peaches, Nanking cherry trees, nanny berry trees, plums, and many more varieties that I’d mention had I not let their labels blow away in the wind. 😳
We also had a generous donation of 50+ strawberry plants and dozens of herbs from Anika Mormon that replenished our little berry patch.

Our little garden and orchard are coming along nicely. Now where do I buy the patience it takes to watch them grow into big trees that provide the delicious snacks?
