Our Litchfield County communities are finding more and more of our folks forced to live outside. High gas prices, unaffordable rental options, and funding cuts have made it challenging for many to afford a roof over their head, leaving a lot of our community members surviving outside! Please help our community outreach team stock up on essential items for those in need!!

Lets TACO BOUT saving a life! Join us for this free event. Along with free Tacos for the first 100 people, we will have give aways, demonstrations and hands on activities. We will also have community partners with information, resources and more. Torrington Area Health District, Winsted Fire Dept, NW Hills Prevention, Apex community care, McCall Behavioral Health Network, Change the script, and more!

This Tuesday join our community outreach team at Torrington Fire dept, NW Realty in Winsted, Loaves and Fishes in New Milford and the Colebrook Senior Center. Please note the Colebrook Senior Center time is 8-9am

Apex Community Care and the Litchfield County Op**te Task Force are teaming up to help keep our communities safe with a county wide FREE Narcan giveaway all day on May 26th!

We’ll have multiple locations across Litchfield County distributing Narcan, overdose prevention resources, and community support. Select sites will also have free ice cream.

Whether you want to pick up Narcan for yourself, your family, your workplace, or just to be prepared in an emergency, everyone is welcome. No judgment. Just community helping community.

Locations include:
• Torrington
• Winsted
• Colebrook
• Harwinton
• Watertown
• Bethlehem
• New Milford
• Danbury
• Waterbury

This Valentine’s Day, show love where it matters most! Love your community by learning how to respond to an overdose and support your neighbors. Litchfield County has seen an increase in overdoses over the last month, and now is the time to come together. Join our partners from McCall Behavioral Health Network at 9:00am, Apex Community Care at 12:00pm, or Greenwoods Counseling & Referrals, Inc. at 3:00pm for a 20-minute, informative session on how to use naloxone. Ask questions, connect with providers, and learn how a small act of care can save a life.
