You can love being a mom.
Love your family.
Love your life.

And still miss feeling like you have a place in it, too.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.
Wanting to feel strong isn’t vain.
Making time to move your body isn’t taking something away from your family.

Because one day, your kids won’t need you to chase them around the yard.

And I want you to be the mom who can still chase them anyway.

Don’t wait until you have more time. Start making a little room for yourself now.

We don’t just help you plan for now. We help you plan for your future self. Think, what will my life look like in 10 years if nothing changes?

If pain, weakness, or lack of confidence in your body is keeping you from doing the things you love, schedule your free Discovery Visit. Link in bio.

We’re not really training for a smaller body. Thank you Hilary Duff for

We’re training for more life. Strength is the key!

To get on the floor and play with your kids.
To take the trip you’ve been dreaming about.
To dance at your grandkids’ wedding.
To carry the luggage.
Take the stairs.
Keep up.
Say yes to the things you love.

Because the goal isn’t just to look good today.

It’s to move well, feel capable, and stay independent for as long as possible.

Your workout might be your “me” time, but the reason you’re doing it is often bigger than you. ❤️

Train for the life you want to live.

If your body is keeping you from doing the things you love, don’t just work around it. Let’s figure out why.

A bulging disc and a herniated disc are not the same thing. The good news is that neither automatically means you’re doomed to surgery or a life of back pain.

Bulging disc: The disc pushes outward, but the outer layer is still intact.

Herniated disc: A portion of the inner disc material pushes through a tear in the outer layer.

And here’s the part I really want you to know:

An MRI finding does NOT automatically equal your pain or your future.

People can have disc bulges/herniations with little or no pain. And having one doesn’t mean you have to stop moving, stop exercising, or resign yourself to chronic back pain.

The goal should be to understand WHY you’re having symptoms and what your body needs to get you moving again. Sometimes the MRI finding is just that, but it’s not what’s causing your pain.

Your MRI is information, not a life sentence. 👏

Save this for the next time someone tells you a “herniated disc” means you’re done. And send to a friend who needs to know they aren’t doomed to a life of pain ❤️

For so many people, “feeling better” has become the goal.

But what if you didn’t have to keep managing the same pain over and over?

Natalie came to Edge after years of monthly adjustments. Instead of chasing symptoms, we focused on why her neck kept getting stiff and why the headaches kept coming back.

Two visits later, she was already doing things she hadn’t been able to do in years.

That’s the difference.

My goal isn’t to make you dependent on appointments. It’s to help you understand your body, address the root cause, and get back to living your life.

Thank you, Natalie, for trusting me with your care. ❤️

If you’re tired of temporary relief, let’s figure out what’s actually driving your pain.

If the only way your pain stays away is by avoiding the things you love… the problem isn’t solved.

You’ve just learned how to work around it.

You shouldn’t have to stop lifting, running, playing with your kids, traveling, or living your life just to keep your pain “under control.”

Find the why. Fix the root cause. Then get back to doing what makes you feel like you.

Because the goal was never to avoid movement.
The goal is to move without fear.

One of the hardest things I hear from patients is:

“I was told to stop lifting.”
“I was told to never squat again.”
“I was told to avoid jumping.”

Sometimes, temporary modifications are absolutely appropriate. But too often, people are told to give up the activities they love or indefinite modifications without anyone asking why those movements hurt in the first place.

My goal isn’t just to get you out of pain.

It’s to help you get back to the life you want to live.

That might mean lifting your kids, training for a race, playing pickleball, CrossFit, dancing, jumping or getting back in the gym with confidence.

A good provider should help you understand what your body can tolerate, build your capacity over time, and only limit movements when there’s a good reason, not out of fear.

If you’ve been told to stop doing something you love, don’t assume that’s your forever.

What’s an activity you’ve been told to avoid because of pain?

Your push-up isn’t wrong… but it might not be doing what you think.

Not every push-up should look the same.

One small change in your elbow position can completely change what you’re training (and how happy your shoulder is).

Elbows tucked closer to your sides = more triceps.
Elbows around 45° = more chest (this is where most people will feel strongest).
Elbows flared straight out = puts your shoulders in a much less favorable position and can increase your risk of irritation over time.

Does that mean your elbows should never flare? Not necessarily. Our bodies are adaptable. But if you’re dealing with shoulder pain, struggling with push-ups, or trying to build strength, this is an easy place to start.

Next time you do push-ups, pay attention to where your elbows go. You might be surprised how different it feels.

Which elbow position do you naturally use?
