🌿 A little look inside my therapy office

Creating this space has been such a fun part of starting my private practice. I wanted it to feel calm, comfortable, and welcoming. A place where you can come as you are.

Therapy can look different for everyone. Sometimes it’s talking, sometimes it’s learning new ways to handle big feelings, sometimes it’s working through something that’s happened, and sometimes it’s simply having a safe place to sort things out.

I’m currently welcoming a limited number of new clients children, teens, and adults who may be navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, life changes, or everyday challenges.

I’m now accepting UnitedHealthcare/UBH clients and have limited openings available.

I also accept Aetna, private pay, and Medicare.

Minnesota Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthPartners, MA, and PrimeWest are pending.

Back-to-school transitions can bring excitement and some big feelings, too. 💜

As children settle into new classrooms and routines, you may notice:

• Increased worry or irritability
• Trouble sleeping or physical complaints
• More emotional outbursts after school
• Difficulty separating in the morning
• A greater need for reassurance or connection

These reactions don’t necessarily mean something is wrong. Transitions take energy, and children often release their emotions once they’re back in a safe place.

A predictable routine, calm reassurance, and a little extra connection can make a meaningful difference. Give them time to adjust and remember that support is available if those worries begin interfering with everyday life.

✨ Exciting news! ✨

I’m so excited to share that I have officially opened Baum Therapy Services LLC!

After years of working as a school social worker, I’ve taken the leap to begin my private practice. While I will continue working full-time in the school setting, I will also be seeing therapy clients part-time at Repose in Little Falls.

I have been incredibly humbled by the support and referrals I’ve already received. Because of that support, my September appointments are currently full.

At Baum Therapy Services, I believe healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space where children, adolescents, and adults can navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me throughout this journey. I’m excited to see where this new chapter leads.
