Kerry Burggraff, age 76, of Onamia, MN, passed away on August 26, 2026. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 206 N Spruce St, Onamia, MN 56359. Arrangements are with the LeMieur Funeral Home in Onamia.
Kerry was born in Brainerd, Minnesota, on June 11, 1950, to Leola (Greenwood) and Aloysius Burggraff. He graduated from Onamia High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Navy. Kerry was Honorably Discharged from active duty on September 24, 1973. He was united in marriage to Linda Whitcomb in 1970 and spent 49 loving years together. Kerry made countless friends in the surrounding area while delivering Schweigert Meats and, later, Pan-O-Gold bakery items for over 30 years. Kerry was a dedicated MN Vikings fan and enjoyed ice fishing with his brothers. He will always be remembered and loved. Kerry and Linda were parents of four devoted daughters, Stacy Rae, Ronnie Renee, Jody Mae, and Brandy Kay. They were later blessed with ten amazing grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Kerry is survived by his four daughters; two brothers; two sisters; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; and his father, Al.

Cheryl "Cheri" A. Verley, 69 year old resident of Onamia, MN passed away Monday, August 24, 2026 at her home in Onamia, MN. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 28, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Steve Priola officiating. Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Cheri was born on March 16, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Duane and Lora (Phillips) Block. After moving to Denver, Colorado, Cheri attended Silver State Christian School, graduating with the Class of 1975. She went on to attend Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. In 1980, Cheri was united in marriage to Timothy Verley. The couple made their first home in Royalton, Minnesota, before eventually building their final home outside of Onamia, Minnesota. Cheri and Tim were blessed with four children: Trenton Robert, Troy Duane, Tyler Paul, and Taryn Faye. Cheri devoted much of her life to her children and took great pride in homeschooling them through their high school years. She loved learning and had many talents. Mikinaak, Devin Weyaus, age 35, of Lake City, MN, passed away on August 17, 2026. A visitation will begin at dusk on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation, with Baabiitaw officiating. Mikinaak, Devin Weyaus was born on August 14, 1991, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Jonell Engel and Phillip Weyaus Sr. Devin liked to spend his time watching sports along with sports betting, basketball, collecting Pokemon cards, online gaming such as SOCOM, Dota, & Rainbow Six Siege, watching Anime, cooking/grilling out, and getting to pow wows during his sobriety.

Devin is survived by his parents, Jonell and Steven Sam; grandpa, Herb Weyaus Sr. (Rosalie) & grandma, Darlene Rubesh; brothers, Skylor, Darius (Beth), Jordan and Phillip Jr.; sisters, Kiara (Austin) & Alexis; aunt, Jessi Engel; uncles, Edward Engel, Allen and Randy Weyaus; We’eh’s, Steven Sam, Darrell “Luke” & Randy Weyaus. And many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him.

Donald "Don" J. Waldvogel, 91 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at his home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Brandon Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 A.M., prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls. Donald “Don” Waldvogel was born on August 2, 1935, to the late Paul and Frances (Lenarz) Waldvogel in to a family of 7 brothers and 3 sisters. He grew up and lived in Little Falls, MN, his entire life. Don attended St. Mary’s School and was an altar boy. He then attended Little Falls Community Schools, where he was active in Golden Glove Boxing. Don began working at Larson’s Water Craft, and retired from the boating industry in 1993. He was united in marriage to Bernice Holz in 1972, his “Little Honey” in Little Falls. They enjoyed fishing, traveling, dancing, and country western music. Don was active in softball, bowling, and horseshoe league. He loved hunting and fishing when he was younger. Don was a member of the Minnesota Fishing Museum, and the Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, Wisconsin, and donated his old tackle and fishing memorabilia. Mary Joan Beseman, 76 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at her residence. Mary was born May 30, 1950, in St. Cloud, MN, to the late Lucille and John Schirber. She was raised alongside her late brother, Mark, and her sisters, Maureen, Myrna, and Marcia, in a home full of laughter and love. Graduating from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1968, she continued on with her education at St. Cloud Vocational and Technical College, where she studied Bookkeeping. Throughout college, she worked at a nursing home. She then continued on to Bremer Bank in St. Cloud after graduation. Mary met Michael Beseman, her devoted husband, at Domino Dance Hall in 1970. They later married on September 3, 1971, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN. After the wedding, they lived in St. Stevens, MN, until November of 1973, when they moved to their forever home in Little Falls, MN. Mary worked at Super America for several years. Mary Halverson was born on September 29, 1930, in Excelsior, Minnesota, to the late Emmett and Mary (Fitzsimons) Ryan. She grew up in the Excelsior area, where she attended school. In 1992, Mary was united in marriage to Kenny Halverson in C**n Rapids, Minnesota. Throughout her working years, Mary held several different positions. She was employed at 3M and also worked as a waitress at the High Hat. She spent the majority of her career at the Anoka County Courthouse, where she worked in the collections department until her retirement in 1992. Mary was a wonderfully artistic and creative woman who especially enjoyed painting. She also had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed singing. Mary generously shared her love of music with others, often bringing the joy of song to elderly residents in assisted living communities and care facilities. Though her time on earth was far too short, Arianna touched countless lives with her caring heart and vibrant spirit.

Olive Mary “Pinky” Manlick, of Little Falls, Minnesota, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born May 20, 1942 in Little Falls and attended Little Falls High School. On February 7, 1959, Pinky married the love of her life, Raymond John “Ray” Manlick. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised six children: Rose, Randy, Larry, Danny, Shelly, and Susan. Pinky and Ray celebrated 67 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and devotion to one another. Pinky was a hardworking and dedicated woman who held positions at SuperValu, a bridal shop, and Larson Boat Works. She also had a deep commitment to serving her community. Throughout his life, Ken was a dedicated farmer and school bus driver. He also proudly served his community as a member of the Bowlus City Council, always willing to lend a helping hand and contribute to the town he loved.
