LFHS held an employee service recognition party yesterday. Years of service awards were given out and a drawing of prizes was held. A Mexican bowl buffet and a dirty soda bar was available for staff.

Our Painted Lady Butterflies that we received as caterpillars morphed and were ready to be released to do what butterflies do. It was perfect timing for a beautiful day to do so. Comments from the residents through the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly were, "Ick" (that was the caterpillar form!), "I never knew that," "That's really cool," "This was a fun project," "They're so beautiful," "Thank you!"

It's always a good day when the residents get to enjoy violin music and singing.
