From therapist-designed obstacle courses to sensory stations and open-ended play, there’s something for every little explorer to enjoy! Our FTC Kids occupational, physical, and speech therapists will also be available to support play and answer questions. ⁣

When we say consistency at home helps skills carry over beyond the session, this is what we mean 🌈

Therapy gives children a structured space to learn and practice new skills, but repetition at home helps those skills become part of everyday life.

Whether it’s working on communication, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, regulation, feeding, or daily routines, practicing between sessions gives children more opportunities to use what they’re learning in real situations.

Small moments of practice at home can help build confidence, strengthen skills, and support progress that extends far beyond the therapy room!

At FTC Kids, building trust and connection is such an important part of the work we do. When a child feels safe, that relationship can create the foundation for confidence, communication, regulation, and growth.

POV: You ask a client to pause their preferred activity 😅

Transitions away from preferred activities can be hard, especially when a child is highly engaged, having fun, or using that activity to help regulate their body.

Practicing these moments can help build flexibility, emotional regulation, waiting skills, following directions, and the ability to transition between activities with more confidence over time.
