May 9, 2026 A really special treat for the Spring Cleanup volunteers! Bruce and Judy Johnson’s relative Mrs. Oscar Johnson (who is buried in the Darling Cemetery) was a bit of a celebrity. She was a State Fair Champion for her Swedish Pepparkakor cookies. Judy Johnson baked several dozen from the prize winning recipe to share with all of us. Judy also distributed copies of the recipe with the ad which featured the 1958 champion.
