Our August Signature Concert was filled with incredible live music! 🎷🎶 Matt, our Executive Director, kicked off the first hour with a fantastic saxophone performance before the Takin It Easy Band took the stage to finish out the celebration.

✨ Resident Spotlight: Joy ✨

One of the things Joy loves most about living at The Barclay is the people and the wonderful staff who make it feel like home. She also enjoys the many activities our community has to offer, and we’re especially grateful that she started our Ping Pong Group, which has become a favorite among many residents!

Joy looks forward to playing Wordle almost every day after lunch. She also enjoys golfing and has a love for horses, with her beloved horse, Sonny, holding a special place in her heart.

A few of Joy’s favorites:
• Favorite color: Raspberry
• Favorite movie: The Razor’s Edge
• Favorite hobby: Golfing
• Favorite animal: Horse

When asked what piece of life advice she would share, Joy’s answer was simple yet meaningful: “Be kind to others.”
