1. Sleep elevated. Keeping your head and body elevated reduces swelling and promotes faster healing.
2. Move. Light movement early on improves circulation and helps your body recover. Just don't overdo it.
3. Prevent bleeding. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements before and after surgery to minimize bleeding and bruising.
