Will you have a scar after getting implants?
Anytime we make an incision through the skin, there will be a scar. The goal isn't to promise you won't have one. It's to be strategic about where we place it and how it will look long term.
For augmentation, Dr. Sloan often prefers an incision in the natural fold underneath. While there are different incision options, this location gives the surgeon excellent access during the procedure and typically allows the scar to be well concealed as it matures.
Scars also change significantly with time. What you see during the first few weeks or months is not what you should expect your scar to look like years later.
Because a scar is part of surgery, but thoughtful placement can make a big difference.
