🌟 Introducing 2024 Best Dressed Little Rock Honoree Megan Young! 🌟
 
Megan is a Little Rock Native and graduate from Episcopal Collegiate School.  She completed her BSN at UAMS college of nursing, MSN from ASU and became a Board-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.  Megan has worked in both private and academic settings in Little Rock and Charleston, SC.  She has cared for numerous cancer patients routinely over nine years of practice. 

When Megan has down time she enjoys spending time with her two children, Jackson and Ella, and her wonderful husband of 12 years Dr. Zachary Young. They love traveling, baking, cooking, family game night, and lake time.
 
Megan’s personal impact: “Cancer has personally impacted me recently because a dear friend, Nate Hill, battled cancer and I was able to be there for him through surgeries and his hard battle at UAMS.  I worked as a CRNA at UAMS while Nate was treated there, and I truly believe he needed me there as much as I needed him.  He gave me a special purpose as the hospital was lifting Covid regulations to keep him company through specific anesthetic needs, surgery recovery, and chemo. His wife, Jeni, was able to put trust in me while I was there to help during some hard decisions and moments.” The Arkansas Sector of the American Cancer Society is so pivotal locally with transportation, food, and many other basic needs. I am very excited and proud to raise funds and make an impact for our incredibly resilient cancer patients here in Arkansas.
