We are proud to welcome Amanda Deel, DO, as the 79th President of the Arkansas Academy of Family Physicians!

Dr. Deel was installed on August 28 by AAFP President Sarah Nosal, MD. The evening made history twice. Dr. Deel became the first osteopathic physician to serve as president of the Arkansas AFP, while Dr. Nosal conducted the entire installation ceremony on roller skates in honor of our Back to the ’80s theme!

Dr. Deel’s passion for developing future physicians, protecting mothers and babies, and advancing family medicine is evident in everything she does. We are fortunate to have her leadership, vision, humility, and heart guiding the Academy in the year ahead.
