Thursday nights at NLC Greater Little Rock are becoming something our guys look forward to.

Tonight at Re:Gen, the focus was on Step 2: Believe — believing that God can do what we couldn't do for ourselves.

That's the hope these men are chasing. Not perfection. Not a quick fix. Just another step forward with God leading the way.

A huge thank you to our regular food partners Potluck Food Rescue, Little Caesars, and Word of Outreach for consistently helping keep the men of Magnolia Recovery Community fed.

Because of your continued support, our guys have access to meals, snacks, fresh food, and essentials that make a real difference in their recovery journey. Every donation helps relieve financial pressure, builds hope, and reminds our residents that their community cares.

We couldn't do what we do without people and organizations willing to invest in second chances.

Thank you for standing with us and with the men working every day to rebuild their lives.

This morning was a reminder that God doesn't always start with strength. Sometimes He starts with surrender.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." – Matthew 5

Pastor Marcus Brown's message at NLC Greater Little Rock vibed for a lot of our guys today. Most of us didn't come into recovery at our best. We came in broken, tired, carrying burdens we were never meant to carry alone. But God has a way of rebuilding what the world has written off.

After service, we loaded up the crew and now we are at bowling alley. Recovery isn't just about what we left behind. It's about learning how to live, laugh, build healthy friendships again, and create memories without that mess that destroyed us.

One day at a time. One step at a time. One victory at a time.

A few words of encouragement for the ones that choose sobriety AND a new life in Christ?!

Food for Thought 🌱

Real talk... a week don't sound like much until you look back at everything God did in seven days.

New guys came in. Some guys leveled up and moved on. Food kept showing up. The property kept getting cleaned up. People got fed. People got prayed for. People got another shot.

Meanwhile, the enemy stays busy trying to make us focus on what's wrong instead of what's changing.

But if you've been around Magnolia long enough, you know one thing:

A lot can happen in a week when people stop running from God and start walking with Him.

Keep your head down. Keep doing the work. Keep stacking days.

One day at a time turns into a whole new life. 💯

Just got back from Re:Gen night at NLC Greater Little Rock with a group of our guys.

One thing that stuck with me was how many of us spend years being known for our worst decisions, but God keeps looking at what we're becoming instead of what we've been.

Recovery isn’t just about getting clean. It's about getting your life back, your purpose back, and sometimes even yourself back.

"The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Glad we went. Looking forward to next Thursday already. 🙏❤️

The work doesn't stop when our residents graduate. Check out Joey. He here is all successful in his 4 plus years of sobriety, a month outside of graduation and still coming back to make sure we are OK!

During Joey's residency, he became a front runner with helping around the house, landed a very good paying job, got him a loaded up SUV there in the background, and now he's in his own home and sharing what he had left after doing his own flowerbeds!

Let's share some congrats and words of encouragement in the comments!! Thanks Joey!

Man shoutout to Sam Slaughter and The Only Option Tattoo Parlor for reaching out and blessing some of the guys at Magnolia Recovery Community with upcoming tattoo coverups. 💯 Def should check out a shop that gives back!

That’s huge.

A lot of these men got tattoos tied to gangs, prison, addiction, pain, and survival mode. They trying to move different now, but the world still judge them off what’s on their skin before they ever open they mouth.

A coverup can help somebody walk into a job interview with confidence again. Help them stop carrying reminders of the darkest seasons of they life every single day. That matters more than people realize.

We STILL need tattoo removal help too though, especially for face, neck, and highly visible tattoos that can’t really be covered up in professional settings.

The original post got shared crazy, so keep sharing this one too. Even if you can’t help, somebody on your page might be able to.
